Rio is one of the most colourful cities. There are beautiful scenic landscapes plenty of tourist attractions, a diverse range of cultures and exotic temperatures. Rio de Janeiro is home to the Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, while there’s also impressive colonial architecture.
The city is rich in culture and music, so it’s no wonder why it was named 2014’s World Cup destination. The fact that you can soak up the history, enjoy the beach fronts and climb Corcovado Mountain. The Carnival begins on the weekend before Ash Wednesday and it give people the opportunity to enjoy the street festivities, colours, cultures, music and costumes.
Rio is a unique city, and you can only begin to understand just how beautiful it is when you’re spent some time there. We’d recommend a 2 week break in the heart of city if you want to see as much as possible and enjoy Rio to the full.
